The use of line is rather good also. Your average composition critic doesn't like large and in the center, but with the flames coming out of the hands the eye is drawn back into the focal point over and over.
The sparks coming off of the hands and eye sockets were also a nice touch. They are reminiscent of static electrical fields, but with a gentle gravitation towards the bottom of the page.
As a whole I like how the image is blue and purple and pink and filled with light, but yet remains dark and in the shadows.
